Post HLR conference status change

Question

I submitted request for HLR for supplemental claim originally denied even though CnP examiner clearly indicated neck condition was due to military service. The decision letter referenced the CnP exam in denying back condition due to CnP examiner opining this yet failed to mention the CnP opinion for neck denial. Once i explained this during informal conference my status changed to New Decision and VA found an error. What does this mean?

It’s hard to tell at this point. Your guess is as good as mine. I suggest waiting on the determination letter. Have you received a dx for your condition? Was it treated in service or within the one year of discharge?

It sounds good to me.  Va probably wont admit to a "harmless error" but instead are suggesting an "outcome determinative" error.

While I agree with Dot, dont run out and buy a new corvette with money you have not gotten yet, but what you posted sounds very favorable.
