HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted August 15, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 15, 2015 Does the award say no future exams or Permanent and Total? P and T controls Champ VA requirements. J
Berta
Right.with P & T they also will award Chapter 35 to your dependents,up to a specific age (usually 26) and also add any service time they might have as a veteran, to the eligibility deadline, extending it.Chap 35 paid for my degree from AMU (that is they paid for the 30 credits I needed from a past degree program) somewhere around 13 thousand. And my Champva is Wonderful.I think many vets who gets a retro TDIU or 100% award should consider that an IMO/IME or Vocational Expert opinion could, for the investment they would make in that type of opinion, garner them a P & T rating in some cases, and that would insure their dependents would get these great benefits. Also they must not forget,a Voc Rehab denial that determines, due to your SCs, Voc rehab is not feasible, should not only garner TDIU but, in my opinion, definitely a P & T rating. One does not become 'un-vocrehabable', then down the road suddenly has received a VA miracle that cures them enough to be Voc Rehabable... does that makes sense anyone?
