HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted November 4, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 4, 2010 The pain clinic doctor I saw yesterday said it was a mistake to have kept me on opiates for the last 5 years. So is the VA admitting malpractice? When I first went to the pain clinic I asked for celebrex and they said I should be on morphine. Now they say that was a big, fat mistake. HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted November 4, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) WAs it the same Pain Doc or someone else. With the turnover you get differing opinions. Go back in a couple of months and they will tell you something different again. You have heart disease. You do not need to take Celebrex or you may have a MI. Don't do it John. Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted November 4, 2010 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 4, 2010 John, Did you get a copy of the progress notes from that visit? I'm curious if the doc logged that statement. So, if the doc does not want you on opiates, what type of pain treatment do think they have in mind?
