Hi John,

I get your point. I really hadn't put to much thought into the P&T because it was pending. I actually had thought about going back to school but I guess that won't be an option if Va is not going to pay. I have no intention on going back to my previous two jobs due to physical limitations. I guess I'll show up to the Appt. and see what happens. Thanks for your response.

Hello,

I meet with the Voc Rehab counselor on 5/3/11 to discuss my options? Im currently rated at 100% with P&T pending. I really don't know what to expect. I know my days of doing tough physical work are over. Any Ideas on what they will offer me or suggest?

They are going to start me off in group ( not crazy about that) and then down the line one on one. Like anything else with VA, Keep knocking on the door!

Dear Mrs. Rockman,

I had an Appt. with my PCP. I told her I needed to see someone for my PTSD. She took me down the hall to a psychologist and she got the ball moving quickly. I have seen her twice and met with a guy at the national PTSD center this morning. Put it on them and tell them you need help! Hope this helps.

I work for a Big City Police Department. The City is self insured. I never paid any premiums. It really isn't considered long or short term disability. You get hurt and you stay out injured until you either go back to full, light duty or if your injuries are severe enough they tell you to retire (disability retirement.) I hope this helps.

Hello Everyone,

I have been checking out Hadit for about a year now and this is my first post. I went to 100% in february (P+T) pending. I went off injured from my job in early February due to mounting injuries and filed for ssdi about 3 weeks ago. My question is this. Im out injured from my job collecting tax free injured pay. Will this effect my ssdi, Retro etc? Any and all help appreciated.
