  1. Thank John, I think I gave them the Ammunition because all of that is in.The Last thing I had to do when I got SSDI was to see a Psychologist: Must have had something to do with the PTSD Part. hat I did was Put in for TDIU: by asking for a increase because of my Worsen PTSD 30% & Flat Feet 30%, total 60% Combined. Then I went to a Civilian Psychologist Whom stated on the evaluation as difined by DSM-IV and the recurring symptoms of this disorder make me 100% disabled. turned that evaluation in with my TDIU claim. I did not mean to give the the ammunition to say no because of my two NON-service brain tumors. "But" I know the Va. One thing and then every thing can turn up side down . I do understand Nightmare and have to way and see.
  2. Thanks Rogers Will do just that. Oh yeah thanks for fast reply. Trat 8 Thanks also for helping so many veterans we need soldiers like you. If you think of anything else that may help my case please let me know.
  3. Thanks Rogers, I will check into the SSDI Date. I was just also worried about Va. going to take my NON-Service part on the SSDI. Will they even look at it for my Tdiu???. I know only the RO will be the one that will say so. I need to take me a trip to Benning, I sure it has change a lot, I'm 2 1/2 hours from there. Just maybe I can talk my son into a drive to one of my old stations.
  4. Need some help as I know eveybody busy helping others. with the above reply. I want to thank you for all the support on this site. Veterans and wives of Veterans helping each other. Who could asked for anything bettter.
  5. Berta thank you, I read a lot of your posting. A lot of veteran get great information from you. My two brain tumors was found in 2005. I retired from the military in 2001. I rated 30 percent now. Sent in for a increase for worsened Ptsd. Which is stated up top. My Question is again on my letter from the ssdi office it says we have established that your disability began on 01/01/11 it said that I stated that I said I becamed disabled on 01/01/2010: becuase of Two brain Tumors (NON-SERVICE), Flat Feet (SERVICE CONNECTED),( POST TRAUMATIC STREE DISORDER. ) The ssdi sent me my award letter: that said: we found that you became disabled under our rules on January1, 2011. This is different from the dsate given on the application. For these reasons, your firt month entitlement to benfits in June 2011. This is the same date of my Va: award letter for the first 30 percent PTSD. when I frist applied for SSDI I sent them a copy of my Va award letter effected award date 30 percent ptsd granted making me then 60% combine: This time I just asking again becuase of my One NoN- Service Connected Issue on my award letter. Means that SSDI Award means nothing to VA. ????
  6. Thank just wanted to check and see if I'm doing the right thing with TDIU and SSDI

I applied for TDIU or the Extra Schedular. A Cilivian Psychologist whom did my report and said PTSD as defined by DSM-IV and the recurring symptom of this disorder make me 100% disabled. This was done in Nov 2012 I also have documents from the SSDI Approval Awards Letter that say I became disabled on June of 2011 same day I got my combine 60 % from the Va. On the document from the SSDI is One Non-Service Disability and Two Service connected Disabilities: When I applied for SSDi: I stated the following for requesting SSDI approval: Non -Service Connected Benign brain tumors/ Service Connected Flat Feet and Service Connected PTSD. Can anyone help me by telling me what my chances may be as far as a Va. Rating increase, This is my first time using this site so I hope I'm in the right area. I was looking for a Betra I see helping many of vets on this site hope someone can reply. Thanks for serving
