  1. Now that's another question that I have also, when I log into VA.gov what is the process to start a supplemental claim. The law firm that I'm working with told me that they would submit it for me but that was last Monday, when I called this morning they told me no supplemental has been submitted so I'm just going to do it myself.
  2. Hi Everyone I want to file a supplemental claim but I was told that I have to fill out form 20-0995 and fax it to the office that sent me my denial letter. But I also wanted to know when I fax in the form do I also fax in the IMO the lay statement and the case law that I have as new evidence in support of my claim.
  3. Thanks for the response, they told me that they will be calling me next week to schedule a televisit with a dr.
  4. Hi Everyone I filed a claim for SSD related to my back rating, I filed it on the 12th of August and I was contacted by a company called VES on Friday. They told me that the VA contacted them because they want to expedite my claim. I wanted to know has anyone had this done before and why would they want to expedite the claim, not that I'm complaining because that's a good thing it's just I've never heard of that before.
  5. Hi Everyone I wanted to know can someone tell me what are SCT codes, and the reason I ask is because I was looking through my VA problem list and of the 6 issues I have 2 have ICD-9 codes and the others have SCT and I was wondering what are those codes and are they similar to ICD-9. Thanks Eric
  6. Gotcha Now I totally understand and thanks for the quick replies.
  7. Hi pacmanx1 I see what you're saying, since this is a secondary condition I just have to have a medical opinion.
  8. Thanks Seminoles That would definitely save me some money on the pad because I'm using 3 a day and those things are $25.00 a box.
  9. Thanks GBArmy I'll make sure I speak to my Dr. on the 30th of this month when my next visit is.
  10. Thanks for the quick reply I actually spoke to an outside Dr. a few months ago and they told me that bladder dysfunction is common with IVDS. They did tell me to speak to my primary care Dr. at the VA to get a referral for the condition since the VA is already giving me SMC K for ED related to my IVDS.
  11. Hi Everyone About 6 months ago my IVDS started effecting by bladder and now at least 3 times a day I have incontinence issues. So what I've done is I've purchase liners and I use those, so would I just tell my doctor and she would refer me to a urologist. And the reason I ask is because if I file a claim for this how do you show documentation that you have this issue?
  12. Hi Everyone I filed for an increase about a year ago and the VA sent me to a C&P exam, the examiner came back and said that my condition had no change. But the VA sent me a letter saying that I was going to be reduced from 70% to 60% but I had to 60 days to submit new evidence to show that I should keep my current percentage. Now we have the COVID-19 outbreak and the Dr. that was going to give me the exam to prove that my condition hasn't changed isn't seeing any patients until June, my 60 day window expires on May 5th. So does anyone here know if the VA will give an extension on this because of the current situation that's going on with COVID-19.
  13. HI awgv001 Thanks for the info that is really good to know, so when I receive my packet in the mail I'm going to request a hearing to submit new evidence. I've already call the doctor that did my previous IMO to have another one scheduled.
  14. HI GBArmy Your right it's been just 3.5 years, but I have a question is it common for the VA to take the word of the PA over the dr. that did my IMO. And the reason that I ask that is because I was in the office for the IMO over an hour and the PA literally had me do a ROM test and I was in and out in 15min. Also a previous poster mentioned that if I file an appeal they won't lower my rating until the new appeal is done do you know that to be true.
  15. The law firm that was representing me just called me and told me that the examiner at my C&P said my lower right Radiculopathy has improved and they are lowering my rate from 40% to 20% for that condition. I was wondering why my rate didn't change, with all the evidence I submitted to them. I had medical records I had an IMO done and also 3 family member statements and they took this one person word over all of the evidence I presented. So now I have to start over but from reading the post on this forum this is just par for the course and I'm going to stick i there until I get what I'm fighting for.
  16. My claim closed on Wednesday so I'll check again tomorrow and thanks for the reply JKWilliamsSr
  17. Thanks Pete992 I'll just wait then because I should know something shortly
  18. Hi Everyone My claim for an increase was closed yesterday and it's saying that I should receive the results in the mail. But I know that I have read that you can check the disabilities section on the left of the page, does anyone know who long that section takes to update.
  19. Hi Miken2c74 This a claim that I filed back in December of 2018 for an increase.
  20. awgv001 If you don't mind me asking what is Peggy?
  21. Hi Everyone I posted this morning asking about the completion date, and I just saw that now my case has been closed. Seeing that it's closed could I call the 800 number and find out what the outcome is or can I have the law firm that representing me find out or do I just wait.
  22. Hi Pete992 I actually had the C&P on the 27th but I just checked my claim this morning and like GBArmy told me I'll just wait for the letter in the mail because the status has changed again LOL
  23. Thanks for the quick reply and I will wait to see what they say
