The last BVA traveling judge hearing I went to, earlier the year - - -
The judge did not have and had not read the C file, even though the VARO
the hearing was held at supposedly had them.  Since the hearing was concerning multiple "CUE"s,
It will be interesting to see what the results are.

What's your VSO say about the recent telephone notification and the 1 issue in question? When the DRO told me he was awarding all major issues from 2010 and IU from 2012 NOD, I agree to cancel 2 non "big $" issues that had been screwed up by original VSO back in 2008. The DRO explained in detail that I could let them ride and be decided at the BVA. I knew they wouldn't fly so I canceled them while at the DRO Hearing and refiled the same day with the proper "lower Limb" Peripheral Neuropathy as opposed to "upper Limb."

Always keep in mind that you only have one C -File and it can only be in one place at a time.  If you filed an appeal then you file several new claims, VA most likely are trying to process those new claims while waiting to process your appeal.  Once you open a new claim after you file an appeal. Your claims folder must leave the appeal section/area and go to the section/area that process new claims.  Once the new claims are processed then your C-File will go back to the appeal section/area with a new suspense date (A date to be reviewed/processed) which can change to anytime VA chooses.

I agree with the others.  What does ebenefts say?  Did you ask for a DRO review, hearing, or straight to BVA?  Remember, if VA issues a SOC you MUST respond with an I9 filing  in 60 days or less or your appeal dies.
It has even been changed to 30 days, so get your I 9 filed within 30 days of SOC just to be sure.
Dont let VA blow you off.  Write to Allison, if you can not get at least a status report on IRIS or the 800 number.
If you are represented by a VSO, you can also ask him or her to check the status.  However, many of us experienced with VA dont recommend VSO's, but if you do have one already, then you should take advantage and utilize their services.

IRIS states they get back to you in 5 business days.  It has been my experience that its more like not at all, or until you send a second IRIS annotating the first and they reply 3-4 weeks after that.
