  1. Clarus Dermatology is on the evidence list. We did a DRO for not having proper consideration of the letter from the doctor or the corpsman. Unfortunately this is all the Dermatologist was willing to provide.
  2. I only filed for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, they opened up skin condition on their own. This is for a direct service connection.
  3. To be honest Berta I had a really hard time apply the example to my case on the psoriasis. I had a great word letter from my Corpsman and a "reasonable" letter from a private dermatologist. The only one in Minnesota I could even get to offer anything on it. My corpsman's statement was filed as a lay statement. In the decision they didn't reference either of the statements. Want me to upload them?
  4. Good evening. My claim was decided. My rating for anxiety with depressive features at 30% and changed to PTSD at 50%. My VSO said I should be furious at the denial for Psoriasis and Prostatic Arthritis. We filled a NOD with DRO. He said get ready for the long haul. Lastly the CUE on my shoulder was deferred. Considering this was going back to 04/2011 and my C&P went very well I am hoping this is a good sign. Any insights?
  5. I could look on my old claim again. But was denied on basis that there was no shoulder injury in my STR. I found a copy of my final physical where it showed in for different sections that I was being treated for my shoulder. I have the final physical to my VSO and he wrote down some of my compliant and said he would file a CUE. I haven't heard anything since then, until I was called to schedule a C&P for it this morning.
  6. Good afternoon, I had a call to schedule a C&P for my shoulder from LHI this morning. Generality speaking does that mean they agreed with my rationale for a CUE and are moving forward with the claim?
  7. They fixed my testicle by getting rid parts of it. For me it is tough because I felt really connected to righty, but overall I am just grateful to.. I am happy to lose the 10% rating to get the cure. I will always monitor it to make sure the pain stays away. But do you want the pain gone or money?
  8. Good evening, I want to apologies about dropping so many questions. I half assed my claims all of these years and am finally motivated. One of my original claims that were denied was a shoulder injury I suffered during PT 45 days before I got out. I was denied out right for 'no evidence to warrant service connection for a chronic disability associated with your right shoulder. ' On my final physical it was noted I had a ' suprascapular rotater cuff strain.' Of course it wasn't chronic yet, it was fresh. I also checked painful shoulder. They also denied device connection for tooth injury residuals. On my dual physical I also noted admission to a CSH for severe tooth infection, had oral surgery with a cyst removal from jaw. As well as a severe allergic reaction to the medicine they gave me. Is this enough to be considered new material evidence? How would you go forward?

    SMC-K?

Good afternoon, While I don't think anyone is ever pleased to see there rating go down I am happy that my testicle pain went away. Righty was crushed in service. I was denied K because I had successful sex once after my testicle surgery before being placed on drugs. I am also service connected for hypertension and anxiety, which was not considered. However, I am a bit confused about the loss of testicle wording. I had a testicular denervation which means they removed parts of the testicle but not the entire thing. Would this constitute SMC K?
  10. I can definitely appreciate different point of views. I have never found these reliefs and am jealous of those that do. I'm genuinely happy for your success with it.
  11. Probably because acupuncture is voodoo medicine.
  12. From my understanding when getting an IMO they need to state that they have reviewed your case. Does this mean printing off all the VA Notes from the Blue Button or that I have to track down the C File? I reread the denial letter and I was denied the claim for the earliest diagnoses of psoriasis in 8 months after I got out. And am trying to get his opinion through lay statements and pictures. How much does he need to review?
  13. I'm service connected for testicular trauma. Since my list surgery the pain has gone away. But now I have ED. This was denied as secondary to the surgery and I failed to appeal. I want it reconsidered for either: surgery, sc hypertension or sc anxiety.
  14. I'm new here. Today I visited a claims rep. Went well today. Said we need to blow the doors open to new material with a IMO. So I call Mayo, they want a referral. I call the VA Urology. They want me to be referred to them to refer me to Mayo. My primary care won't give a referral to them without coming in for a appointment. I explained, I got the diagnoses. I'm happy with my treatment. I need a medical opinion on the cause, a review of medical history, a form filled out and a high five. And.. nothing. Urology is the least of my worries though. I'm truly afraid of the process for dermatology. Any suggestions or advice?
