Part of mine is waiting 4-5 months for a HLR (higher level review). Thoracolumbar intervertebral disc disease.

I submitted the box rehab first form on it my doc said no maybe in 2 years.  But under it the question is asked what will happen with therapy and she stated will get better. With no therapy regression.

I hope it helps with my tdiu case. I also submitted my SSA summaries as evidence. I have submitted about 80 pages of evidence.

I think i will have to do a higher level review when the denial comes thru.

  2. I am currently rated at 70% for bipolar. I told them everything at my exam. Including the fact that my doc was still adjusting my meds.

You have to describe your worst days and be completely honest. If they ask you a question if you don't know say you don't and they will expalin it to you.

I have only seen private docs so far and they are the ones to prescribe everything. I haven't been to the VA yet.

  3. i am hoping it all comes at ok. My 70% was awarded quickly within 90days. The termination letter and the summary of why i failed the fitness test states i am unable to perform my job due to my current mental status. I am hoping with the 3 letters as well as std Ltd and intermittent fmla with all the dates I missed work.

Here is hoping it all comes out my way. The 5 docs who say i can't work now will make it a little easier.

I will keep adding as i go thru this process.

  4. Based on my doctors note that states i am unable to work due to my bipolar. I also have my failed fitness for duty that says the same thing.

My record for voc rehab was stopped before the full interview because time of the 5 docs notes.

My file has been updated to waiting on one 4192. It has been sent in bu my employer. I should have a decision in 3 weeks.

  5. I haven't been ruled unable to work yet. Based on what the decision is for tdiu will determine if I stop collecting ue.

Once the tdiu is awarded you are deemed unemployable. At least that is how the lawyer stated it to me. Until then i should be looking for a job for the ue even if i can't get a job or keep a job.

I also have a failed fitness for duty test that was submitted with my tdiu and the letter of termination which states i failed my fitness test.

I will keep updating so as to be helpful to others.

  6. I read that the VA will request all my earnings from my jobs. I had a part time job i left due to issues with my full time job. I was with that company for 20 years as a part time but my sc became to much for me.

The boss will be writing a letter as a friend because i left the job in good standing. He will explain how over the years my sc has affected my life.

What impact will the second job have on my tdiu? What impact will the letter have on tdiu?

  7. I filed the end of February and having been gathering medical information since I was awarded the 70%.

I have my c and p exam. The termination letter which specifically states i am unable to perform my job due to a failed fitness for duty. I have the fitness for duty and excerpts from that doctor that said i have issues with co workers and continue to have issues with my bipolar. My doc wrote a letter stating i am unable to handle any type of stress. I am getting a friend to write a letter.

The only piece i am missing is the box rehab but i will start working on that whwn i get back from my emergency vacation.

  8. My unemployment compensation runs out in April. I am applying for tdiu. I am unable to find work because i failed a fitness for duty and was terminated. This has all been reported to the VA.

Will collecting unemployment hurt my chances of tdiu? I have been ruled unable to work or unemployable by my doctors. This was also submitted to the VA.  i have to make ends meet i have continued to collect this money while going thru the process of applying for tdiu.

  9. Recently i failed a fitness for duty evaluation for a job I had for 5 years. I sibmited the exam results and my termination letter to the VA. I also submitted a letter that stated i can't handle stress from my doctor. My bipolar became to much and i was in full mania. I basically had a nervous breakdown caused by my service connected disability. My salary was 41000 as a payroll processor.

I am currently being treated for bipolar. My rating is 70% for bipolar. I applied for tdiu.

My c and p exam shows I have bad relationships with co-worker as well as the failed fitness for duty.

Will my length of employment be an issue for tdiu? Will the failed fitness for duty and termination letter help my tdiu case?
