  1. What happened was this, my Claim has gone thru the system (9 times), and about over 2 years ago it went to BVA, it has gone thru there and was remanded to the D.C. VRO instead of being sent back to the original VRO, It has now been in the AMC in D.C. for six months. It was a three part claim. PISD/chemical exposure/Major Depression. i did not have enough physical evidence they tell me, to prove PTSD/Chemical Exposure. I was also advised by DAV to drop the PTSD/Cemical Issue. By the time that happened they had already decided to deny those portions of my claim. I am connected to SSD for Major depression and cognitive disorders. I have supplied the AMC with letters from civilian Dr's, VA Dr's,all show a connection to service, LMSW's, Laypersons, family, SSD and their Dr's. More than a dozen total. My depression was discovered, diagnosed and I was treated for 4 or 6 month's at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital, and then discharged with an Honorable. In 1969. Now AMC wants me to write a letter telling them why I disagree with a C&P exam I had for PTSD in 2005,. She said I had Biploar disorder not PTSD. So remember The PTSD claim was dropped and denied. So what good is that exam anyway, besides it being full of lies. the are giving me 60 days for my Disagreement/Rebuttal reply letter. McCain, and some other Senators and Congressmen know what's up. I have been fighting this for 38 years, and it sucks. I hope this helps your understanding. Thanks
  2. no, it was chemicals in the ground, water, air. It is explained elsewhere in this forum.
  3. that does not surprize me at all, You should see mine, Exactly the same type of idiocy.
  4. Are there any of these meetings in the northwest?
  5. It was a bad C&P exam, I think, after reading what she wrote. and the AMC might just be giving me a chance to write a rebuttal because none of what she says jives with any other dr's eval/opinion. They are focusing on this one exam in the letter from the AMC, last paragraph. At least that's how I see it.
  6. Can I find out what I need to do to write a valid rebuttal on a invalid C&P exam. Help please this hopefully will be the last hurdle I have to jump over.
  7. My illnesses are as follows, Type I DM, started at Type II age 35 peripherial neuropathy, Nerve damage, hypertension, Major depression, Biploar disorder, Gerd, Clhoracne, cholesterol issues, cognitive disorder and some other stuff I can't remember
  8. That is the kind of info I would like to put together to prove a point if nothing else. We should not have had to be exposed to that stuff/&&^%$. I feel the exposure at T.I was entirely too high and I want to try to prove it. this kind of info, I am sure will help,..... that's why I need this type of info, I'am totally convinced, has caused all mine. I appreciate your input. Thanks
  9. Sorry to bother you guy's with this, but I am about ready just to give up.
  10. I totally argee, the situation as it stands really sucks. The video did bring trears to my eyes.
  11. I have one that I need to do now. at least thats what i indicated by the letter I just got from Appeals Management center.
  12. They were are saying in the SSOC that I had gone to a shrink 6 month's prior to my enlistment, for one thing. That is what the management center is basing thier decision on. Totally untrue. The C&P exam test they gave me (300 Question) Was so bad the couln't rate it. Current diagnoses from 1969 till the present Is the same, Major Depression, 4 mos of treatment at Oak Knoll NAval Hospital while serving, Discharged honorably. I have all the records prior to enlistment to the present. every thing shows that I was first diagnosed in "69" and Still have this Issue. Multiple diagnoses of the same. Been under treatment since 1995.Currently retired by SSD for the same. Don't understand IMO. DAV is VSO, Absolutely no help, other that submitting paperwork. Also this has to be the 9th time I've submitted for this since 1969, denied everytime. I have every record since 1969. Showing mental and physical health prior to and at enlistment saying I was perfectly healthy. The original C&P exam was for PTSD, and the PTSD claim was dropped from the claim by DAV's recommend, As well as a claim for chemical exposure, dropped also. The only thing remaining is the Major depression issue. All but one VA Dr. agree with the Major depression and all have written letters on my behalf, including civilian dr's. Even the Vet Rehab Center Dr's and LMSW's agree. Sorry, but I could be a lot more long winded. This is really getting irritating.
  13. How do I refute a lousy C&P examiners statement. my case is at the board of veterans appeals and the keep asking for more evidence. Is this just another cop out.
  14. You guy's should go look at www.mofo.com, They have filed a class action lawsuit against the VA.The file name is PTSD070723. I can send it to you if you need to see this, About 575 point of law that they have violated with reference to us.
  15. Is it normal for C&P exams to be full of lies.
  16. I remember 1968, and those situation very well. i guess what I really need to do is get names and illnesses that the rest of the guy's are now suffering from. I want to take the VA to the wall on this issue. I hope you understand!
  17. I have seen that site. I have been gathering info for quite a while. I need to know what illness issues you have or have heard about. or if you know any other of the guy's that were there, that are ill now, please have them write me. I appreciate your info and anything you find or have is gonna be appreciated.
