I sure am praying she can stay cancer free and thanx . I haven,t filed for tdiu I just told them that I wanted to be evaluated anywhere from 70% to 100% whatever the evidence would bear. I am getting 50% now and it has taken some internal fortitude to file this claim as I know how sneaky they can be and possibly reduce me just because they can. Yes that is one of my goals to get my wife on the champ va hospital bills are killing us. I am retired but was on ssi before i retired my wife is still my representative payee and has to file a report every year .

Only thing got me worried is a reduction but I got my first award that went back to 2002 and before this claim is settled I will be 67 yrs old what my chances of a reduction ,I just don't see how they could do it.

Well from what I know the department of veterans affairs can get my records from a VA hospital anytime they want and I did tell them to retrieve records all way back to 2009 when I got my last increase from 30% to 50% .I have done this before but been long time hard to remember exactly what to do.

Ok I told them I think , i have just filed this claim about a week ago .

What a crock finally was able to get through ! They do this deliberately to confuse and discourage you as much as they possibly can !

I know what would get the word out allocate 10 computers to those who want tp participate, then let the service officer for each area allow you to put a notice in their office and give a number where you can be contacted. This would be of benefit to the service officer as the vet filing a claim will not have to worry them about questions and status of claims they could get the answers to most of their nquestions on the internet. I really believe this idea would help a lot of vets who do not know the ropes and have given up.

Hey that would work,look at it this way with a computer a vet has a better chance of finding what is right for him, be it a job ,voc training, endless possibilities. I just cannot imagine filing a claim without one,and if it had not been for a computer and guidance from hadit and sites like it i would never have won my claim. I was able to instantly contact senators congressman,and keep up with my claim through IRIS. I sure would help in any way i could though i have a lot to learn putting one together is pretty simple,you know just a basic computer. I would be willing to go around in my surrounding area and help the vet get familiar with logging on the various sites to get help and teach what little i know to them. I really believe this would help a lot of down and out vets who have given up and need a leg up ,not to mention the bvet is going to feel better about himself knowing he has the power of the computer and the friends of hadit and other helpful sites.

Hey that is a wonderful idea,as a matter of fact this lady contacted me as she heard i was into computers and wanted one for her kids in school. She said mr skunk ,i do not make but $200 a week and i was hoping you could help me. So my heart was broken and i let her have a real good dell for just what i had in it and threw a lexmark printer in with it . I let her have it all for $50 .Then she came back and said she did not have a mouse for it so i gave her a mouse. Hey that was the best feeling i had in a long time ,to help some one especially if they are seeking a better education for their kids. She has come back and wants another bone and i am waiting on my bid to go through to get some more as she said she knew some other families who needed one for their kids. I am not in it for the money ,just to break even on the parts i have to buy will be alli need. We could really make this work all we need is the old computers people and schools etc throw away,sometimes there is hardly anything wrong with them at all. I am willing to participate just show me the way computers for vets that cannot afford one ,could use it to help with their claims or check out hadit.com. I would not want to be the ring leader ,but will participate if some one gets it going .

Well looks like i am going to have to lower my sights a little bit. I foune this motherboard and after adding everything i needed to go with it ,it hit around the $2000 mark. So until i win that million dollar raffle in arkansas "bought four $10 tickets" , i am going to stick to my junk computers and learn a little more. But you just wait it is coming when you walk in to my game room you will think you are on the planet oz .

Wow ! I was thinking of building high end game computers as i believe i could get my money back out of them and my son is in college learning to make games for computers and such. I like to play games sometimes and dont laugh ratchet and clank is my favorite as far as a playstation goes ,my son likes black ops and stuff like that . I really just would like to get into it for the fun of it and it is a challenge when you only have a ninth grade education. however i have always had a knack for electronics ,just never pursued it. This is going to be fun i can fool with a computer 14 hours a day and hate to leave it then. I know i have a lot to learn and will never know what a high school student knows in my lifetime but i am having fun giving it a whirl > Man they have some 1T harddrives now .

I totally agree ,i do not want to spend a lot of money and blow the whole thing up because i did not know what i am doing. I do not think i am going to have a whole lot of problems assembling one ,where i have my problems is with software. I have gathered several old computers and built a simple one out of parts from each,however i know i havent touched the tip of the iceburg as far as what i need to know and believe me it is intimidating to look at all the stuff you should know. I have been looking at a site called NEWEGG and what i would give to have a lot of money to spend with them. I had in mind what notorious kelly saw in his post with the neon lights . Heck i want to communicate with the aliens !

Hey i want to give everybody who doesnt know a warning when getting rid of your old computer. I have been collecting from the street old computers that people throw away ,and finding the harddrives still in them with info . Remember to take your harddrive out ,after deleting everything on it ,i would take it out anyway. Then you might want to ask one of the geeks what to do with it ,i have heard all kinds of stories how to destroy one ,drilling holes in it soaking it in hydrocloric acid etc.and though i do not believe it says you can still get info off it. Something to think about !

Thanks , i have been taking old computers apart studying them reading about them ,putting them back together. I puut a bid on a bunch of computers that were in a courthouse ,hope i get them . they will come withouty the harddrives ,but that is no problem as i have some from salvaged computers. I do not want to build one until i really know what i am doing,as they do cost . You should check out NEWEGG ,man have they got some stuff that will blow your mind ! And bonzai that is the first thing i learned to keep cooling as number one priority thanx.

Man, i have found my calling COMPUTERS ,they amaze me ! I do not know diddly about them ,but am learning on my own and have been checking out a site called newegg ,so i may build a super computer in my home. There is so much to learn and i am lucky to have two sons that majored in computer science in college. That is what i like about Hadit no matter what you want to get into Hadit has someone onboard that knows something about what you want to do. If i can get my hands on the money i would like to order motherboards and all the stuff you need to build a really suped up gaming or anything goes computer. So i may be calling on some of the geeks at hadit for advice from time to time ,and thanks in advance for any help i can get . Damn the torpedos full speed ahead !
