Ron II
I was wodering if you saw the news and was able to see for your self the conditions these barracks were in and by the way the barracks they were talking about were built during the Korean war. I have a feeling that you probably had an easy job and had great barracks too bad I can not say the same for me and probably others. Yes, I saw the news. BTW, I spent 23 years in the Army, including a tour in Vietnam, so I have a pretty good perspective of what is the norm and what isn't. Additionally, as a First Sergeant and Sergeant Major I inspected the barracks that our soldiers lived in. Easy job? Whatever job one has, that has nothing to do with the type barracks assigned. Also, I curious what those "easy" jobs are... And yes, there were still some barracks being used while I was on active duty that should have been condemned. That was not the norm however. Thank you for your service, Ron
