Well, I called the VA today and in their computers, Rick is officially 80%. Here's how it breaks out:

0 for the Aneurysm

0 for the HBP

0 for the Renal Insufficiency

20 for Diabetes

70 for PTSD

This is good, because at least they SC'd him for the stuff he needed, and the PTSD was GREAT!! They denied the Skin cancer, but I have all my ducks in a row to fix that, and will apply for TDIU and comp for his surgery.

We still haven't gotten the letter, and I haven't gotten the retro either, but at least it is in the computer.

Does anybody know when to expect the Retro or the letter?

Keep checking the bank account. It will be any day. The money may beat the letter to you. Mine did.

They should have considered IU for your husband. Is he on SSDI?

Go ahead and fill out the IU form and get it in ASAP. copy and paste this onto your browser.

No, the aneurysm did not result in stroke, at least not yet. He is having surgery on the 19th of June to fix it.

And the money arrived. . but it's wrong. sigh. another fight

Glad for the win but they usually short Vets on retro but at least you will have something and a check every month so a lot easier.

Hang in with us and help other Veterans and spouses.
