I received a letter from the DAV today and they told me (unofficially) that the VA has awarded me IU, and the 70% is continued.
I also received an email back from Iris stating my current percentage is 70% with IU and since I am unemployable they are paying me at the 100 percent rate.
Wow, I didn't think it was possible! Now I have to get to work on Social Security or at least my Lawyers do.
So, I wonder what benefits will I be eligible for now.
Oh, and one other thing. They made IU effective June 15, 2007. I actually received my increased compensation to 70% effective Feb. 2006. I haven't worked since 2003. Shouldn't the effective date be Feb 2006? What do you all think?
