gp747
WELL THEY DID DEDUCT DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR . KNOCKED SSI DOWN BY HALF. SO 30% HAS NOT REALLY DONE ME ANY GOOD FIANANCIALLY. HOWEVER I DO STAND A CHANCE OF AN INCREASE OR BEING AWARDED FOR SOME OF MY SECONDARY CLAIMS. GUESS I DID THE RIGHT THING LETTING THEM KNOW ABOUT AWARD , I HAVE AVOIDED AN OVERPAYMENT. I MADE COPIES, AS I ALWAYS DO OF ANY CHECKS ANY THING I SUSPECT SHOULD BE REPORTED AND SEND THEM TO SOCIAL SECURITY. ALWAYS UPFRONT AND HONESTY IS BEST POLICY. I THINK AROUND $98 A MONTH. DOES SHE HAVE TO ADD THAT AMOUNT TO HER WAGES TO REPORT AT TAX TIME.
hotcoffee2
never ever never ever lie to social security. they stop paying you everything until they can audit your account and that takes months. and if there is any overage, they will be taking that out of your check monthly until you pay every bloody cent back.
