Question

How long does these type of responses usually take? I checked I will send more information or evidence to VA to support my appeal. Va will wait the full 30 dyas from the date of the letter (November 7, 2008) sent with this notice before deciding my appeal. I did send in all relevent information on November 11, 2008. Just curious.

It isn't going to take luck. It is going to take current information.

Sorry, I gave the wrong info on Bill. Turns out that the decision was really an SOC (Statement of Case) with form 9. It appears that the IMO was sent shortly after the DRO decision. We still don't know if the VA received the IMO, yet. We told the congresswoman of this misunderstanding. As usual there is rare communication between the VSO and the claimant. Calls are not returned in a timely manner, and sometimes they are not returned at all.

We requested an informal hearing, over the phone with the VA, in Bills bedroom. The PVA sent the request to the VA. I didn't know that this was possible. We will see what VA comes up with to accommodate Bill in his claims.

We requested a description of all evidence received by the PVA a month ago and the IMO was not mentioned in the review of evidence.

We still have about 40 days left for the form 9. Vasquez Flores Letter needs a response. It just happened that the Vasquez Flores letter came a month before the SOC.

It is so hard to remember all of this BS that we go through, especially with laws changing frequently.

IF I am WRONG about SOMETHING I will SAY SO.............

We are not perfect. We need the best and latest information possible.

Excerpt from the 'Declaration of Independence'

We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity
