nonischemic
Paul and I are not currently married. Can the C&P doctor exclude me from the conference? Do I need to get a POA or something first?
HadIt.com Elder LarryJ Posted March 23, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted March 23, 2009 I doubt seriously if they will even ask you. If they do, what the hey.......just tell them that you are his "significant other"......that'll usually get them, right in the Legal Plexus. carlie
The C&P examiner will most likely not resist unless it is a Mental Health exam - and then the claimant should just be "nice" but insistent that you be allowed into the exam with him. jmho, carlie
sharon
I go into C & P exams with my clients all the time. When they ask, I say that I am their caretaker. They don't ask any question and let me in.
