steve&pat Posted April 26, 2009 Share Posted April 26, 2009 Well the day before yesterday the fee basis at our st. cloud va finally sent the LETTER saying they now are going to pay the hospital bill=imaging - urilogy doctor and the rest or ALL of the bill of $18,000 for my OCTOBER stay for emergency 7 day hospital stay. Even had the minnesota center for disease control concocting antibiotics for the infection. Fee basis turned it down- so I requested my file at FEE BASIS= NOTHING - SO I sent my nod==VISITED THEM{ I have one or two apps a month.AND ANOTHER VISIT, AND A DOCTORS letter= THE service officer sent a complaint- Next visit I gave the DRs letter--FOIA request- AND I used the IRIS 1=800 number IT worked - FEE BASIS AND THE PATIENT called within 20 minutes. So I found a use for the IRIS 1-800 number== Within a week ther reversal came- I also chewed them out for not paying the KIDNEY SPECIALISTS BILLS AND blood work. Im FARMED OUT by the VA TO my specialist{ for A year at a time } BUT THEY DONT READ THE BILLS. Its to much to hope for that they got everything right.OH but I have them pay travel PAY to all my private appointments EVEN THE EMERGENCY.
