Last week I spoke with my service rep and he stated that I should request a complete copy of my latest rating decision including the compensation codes. It has every code that I ever applied for both service connected and non service connected. It has all the effective dates and including increases but at the top center of the page it has legacy code and future exam which is none but it does has a number code for combat. Can someone tell me what are the combat codes? thanks in advance

My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions.

Do your own homework. No one knows the veteran’s symptoms like the veteran. Never Give Up.

I do not give my consent for anyone to view my personal VA records.

You will probably find that all your disabilites are listed under non-combat codes regardless of what happened to you.
