CRYPTOTECH
I called in last week to check up on my claim and was told my DAV rep was no longer employed. I asked why and was told that they couldn't comment on that. I went in and talked to another rep and was told he was fired. He didn't say why. Has anyone had that happen to them? He has been my rep for the past 4 years. Frank

Rockhound
I had it done once, the AMVET rep that advised me to put in a claim for a NSC pension was fired. I went back looking for him to help me file my claim for increase, but he was gone, fired just because he had to take extra time off, because his wife was quite ill with cancer. I thougt this was a heartless thing to do, but i found his replacement to be as pro Veteran as he had seemed to be. It's a shame that the good ones are the first to go, but the ones that screw things up with your claim, are praised because the have a high rate of claims closed out. carlie
Crypto, Where I live,I know of no one that was able to have the same rep for 4 years, the turn-over is quite high. How much help was this rep to you in getting your VA claims granted during the 4 years? carlie
CRYPTOTECH
Yep, sure was and now swooooooosh, he's gone. Just like that. Thankfully I learned so much from him I can manage my claim now effectively. He got two grants for me. I'm at 40% with a C&P exam later this month for increase.
