hello:

i would like to know if any fellow veterans or had it staff can recommend a private doctor in maine, vermont, new hampshire

that accepts medicare a b d and is empathetic to vets and willing to write IMO"S when needed .

Currently I do not use the VA anymore i just rely on medicare my medicare state counselor is looking at a supplement called c to medicare so i dont have to pay the gap between medicare and what is left over on my bill

Most Docs in Dallas accept Medicare. Part D is a so called pharmacy benefit if you call paying thousands in the donut hole a benefit.

Hi Grent and welcome! I'm in VT and doubt seriously you'll find a doc who'll do an IMO for free. To the best of my knowledge Medicare doesn't pay for IMO's.

Although I know of a few Vets who have had IMO's done and paid by Insurance I tend to agree with PR in this case. Sorry I misread the first post.
