yea it was but it was for the inflation in 2008 which due to the 3.50 gas which led to a large inflation and food jumped up due to shipping and feed, etc remember the COLA raise is always for last years inflation so we are never getting ahead of the game we are always playing "ketchup"

I got a letter from Social Security telling me that I am now On Social Security Retirement instead of SSD as of Dec 1.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

Pete they don't reduce your payment from SSD when they convert your to regular SS do they did they do this on your 62nd or 65th Birthday? I hope to live long enough to find out myself so I am curious as to how they handle it thanks Mike

My 66th Birthday as age limit was raised for all born between 1941 - 45. No I continue to be paid exactly the same thank God.
