Type 2 Diabetes

Question

i have a friend who servrd two tours in vietnam while in the navy and was on land,he had a land mine go off under a vehicle he was riding in. so he was definately on land,"boots on ground".

he has type 2 diabetes. does he qualify for presumptive service connection?

Yes-he should file the claim ASAP and also tell them of any secondarys to the DMII.

But this isnt presumptive for Blue Water Navy vets unless he has absolute proof of boots on the gpound.
