Trying To Do My Claim But The Va Does Not Have My Records.

I filed a pension compensation claim for service connected dissability in October. I got a letter from the va saying they do not have my records that are lost. i do not have a copy of them myself but have given them the info from all the civilian doctors I say. I wanted to know if anyone had any reference to people having this situation. Know of anyone with a similar situation that was still rewarded. I am not sure if there is anything else I need to do. Please let me know.

I applied for both pension and compensation. right now i have neither. and the docs i send into the va they said they did not get them. I fam starting to feel like ok here we go. Cause I send the docs certified and they were delivered the next day.

I am going to work on that tomorrow and send them a copy again.

This form has to be sent to you States VARO (Vets Admin. Regional Office). Sending this claim to the VAMC (Vets Admin. Medical Center), won't help.

If you don't understand these terms you should get a VSO (Veterans Service Organization), to help file your claims.

I completed them there and had them reviewed by the va transition center here. Then sent in.
