I wonder how many vets could have disabilities due to their asbestos exposure but have not even considered that possible etiology for their claims. A vet can raise as many potential etiologies as possible so a COPD vet could say their COPD was from toxic fumes from environmental hazards such as Jet fuel or mustard gas exposure but add that asbestos exposure was also one other possible nexus to their disabilities -if they believe their MOS exposed them to asbestos.
