Question

My appeal has been at the AMC for about 17 months. They have contacted me saying they are requesting info from Compensation & Pension Service and U.S. Joint Services Records Research Center. I am trying to prove AO Connection. They have all my info. DD214 etc. proving in country.

Any idea what they may be requesting?

Thanks,

Since your claim is in different status and you have had the C&P it should be quicker...much quicker. What does your SO say about it and if you look there are phone numbers posted that you can ask to see how much longer

Vet 12 -Joint Services (JSRRC) verifies stressors so this must be PTSD claim? as well as AO claim for a presumptive AO disability??

Were you able to detail the stressor as to time, place, and how your MOS put you at place of stressor?

It would not hurt to contact JSRRC and see if they have the verification request and if they need more info from you:

Berta,

Thanks for the reply. You have helped me before. No it is not PTSD. It was AO in Korea.

Why did they request info from Comp and Pension. Thanks Berta.

My last idea is to find out from your VSO the number of the Service Officer they have at AMC and call them and see what is going on.

Good Luck
