Need Advice On Presumptive Claim

Question

On November 30, 2009 I filed for the new presumptive IHD. I had my C&P with very favorable results. Like the rest of us, hurry up and wait!

Since being on this site and reading some of the topics, I pulled out my big thick claims file I have been keeping over the years and guess what.... I found I had filed for compensation for Heart disease due to agent orange exposure. I was denied and have it in writing, this was in 2004. Should I now ammend my current claim to re-open that denied one? Should I wait until I hear the outcome from this? :o

Thanks everyone and by the way...Welcome Home!

Bob

With proof of exposure to AO- you should remind them that you were denied for IHD in the past ( sending them a copy of the denial with it's date would help) and tell them you expect the full application of the Nehmer Court Order and Stipulation to your earliest effective date and to your retroactive benefits.
