If it is large amount, it will take longer, more then one signature.

I had luck with the toll free number, need to ask the right question and be patient with them. They gave me valuable information. Also use the IRIS system they will get back with you in five days. The information is good, but be prepare for part of it be a standard answer. ie, they will be taken care of in the order they are received.

The Long time Forum Veterans will disagree with the above information. That is the way they are. But very few of them had the speedy success I had using the tools above.

sgmdae,

"The Long time Forum Veterans", like me - would first question that if you

had "speedy success" then why does your profile list you as

service connected disability, 0 percent ? ? ?

I had my claim processed by the Columbia VARO which is now Garners Ferry Road my claim was approved by the BVA on April 7 2009 I recieved my award letter on 4 June 2009 and the deposit was made on June 5 2009 my attorney said that was fast she expected it to take 6 months they don't even get the file back from DC in 20 days that has been my experience and it is my understanding that SGMDae's was awarded by his VARO and was not a BVA appeal at least that is my understanding but I have been wrong before and I imagine I will be wrong again very few claims have been processed and approved as quickly as his was his is an above normal claim

have you been getting the 60% a month since 2006? Have you contacted the VARO where your claim was processed and asked them where is the money? Did you have a SO handle your claim? You should contact them, or did they do a 0% from 99 to 2006 and then granted an increase to 60%? There are many questions here one is like why have you waited 4 years to ask where your money is I had a BVA award that was paid in 4 months and the VARO had to process it after they got my C File back from DC have you read your SOC or your award letter real close to see what the effective date of the 60% is?
