My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions.

Do your own homework. No one knows the veteran’s symptoms like the veteran. Never Give Up.

I do not give my consent for anyone to view my personal VA records.

It must be nice.

I can't get my VA doctors to write any pain killers other than the useless over-the-counter stuff.

Would it help if I moved?

Those that need help the most are the ones least likely to receive help from the VA.

It's up to us to help each other.

That article is just a libel against suffering veterans. We are all dope addicts and drug dealers, but we were heros when we were serving Uncle Sam.

Between my rheumatologist and my neurologist, they took me off pain medication years ago. When my psychiatrist wanted to up my depression medication I told him no, I asked for a sleep study to determine if I have sleep apnea and sure enough, I was diagnosed it. Medication doesn't do the job for everybody and I think this article is another way VA is saying that all veterans just want drugs.
