Don't Do As I Did!

Question

Well I am actually handling this pretty good. With my PTSD and memory issues and all the physical junk it takes me a while to finish things. Seems I have more things half way done that anything!

Anyhow this morning I finally bolted myself down to the computer and finished my application for SSDI. I have been out of work since April of this year so I have not prognosticated to much. Anyhow finished the damn thing and came to the page where they ask you to print this and print that to bring with you to the office or mail. I was so anxious and glad to be done with it I hit the close button instead of submit! Don't ask me how I get confused like this pretty regular anyhow I wanted to warn others because I called the SS and they said there was nothing to do except start over!!

I hope it doesn't take me 3 weeks like the last time!! grrrrrrrr!

Have a nice day!

Or, don't do as I have done.

See, I have this cat. I call her psycho-cat, for a reason.

Seems she suffers from a lack of self-esteem (she's not a very good mouser and she's kinda ugly and overweight).

Anyway, so she jumps up on my desk while I'm typing.............and plops down on the keyboard, seeking reassurance and attention.

Stuff that I'm typing goes to la-la land.

Oh well........................I love the old girl.........even if she has "issues".

"It is cold and we have no blankets.

The little children are freezing to death.

My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death.

I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find.

Maybe I shall find them among the dead.

Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad.

From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever."

still- I feel ya.

Even when I finished that form online and printed it, it came out weird and didn't have info from the fields I would like to have (since my memory is Also not golden).

I believe there is a feature to save where you are at and come back later; I recommend using that periodically to 'save' your info before submitting.

Now GET BACK TO IT! :)

Stillhere...

Can't begin to tell you how many times I've hit the wrong button, or had an electrical outage, etc. while in the middle of an important document or online form! All my work, down the drain! Will I be able to remember how I worded everything? It was perfect, now it's gone! Due to these issues, I do as Notorious Kelly does and save my documents numerous times while working on them. Online forms are another story. My heart goes out to you...I know how irritating this is!
