You don't always get the credit you are supposed to get when you post. Whether new or answering someone elses. Just look at this post it says you have 76 posts, but your profile lists 92. They are aware, because I have complained in the past.

You were most likely promoted up from a seaman.

#1 - I have no idea why someone would even complain about this.

#2 - there are some post that don't get included in the different stats - like posts in social chat.
