Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted September 10, 2010 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 10, 2010 My job just announced free flu shots to employees. However, the shots contain the regular and H1N1 varieties. From what I know about last year's H1N1 shot, it contained squalene and want to avoid it. I found this about the Omaha VA offering a triple whammy flu: http://www.vawatchdog.org/10/nf10/nfsep10/nf090710-1.htm (Bronchovet already made some good comments too) The Birmingham VA says the shot will be available October 1st, but it doesn't indicate which varieties will be included. I am going to contact them to see what they say. Has anyone heard any other news about whether or not the regular VA flu shots will be combo shots and might include squalene? I want to avoid squalene.
HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted September 10, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 10, 2010 I always get a flu shot. Dallas VA is offering them in Mid October. I am wondering about the shingles shot whether to take or not.
carlie
Pete, Lucy's private PCP is a huge proponent of the shingles vaccine shot and tetanus.

*Bergie*
Because of articles like this: http://www.rense.com...eral87/mill.htm Current research has disproved this claim, it's safe and for someone who has as severe asthma as you, you should definately get it.
