Question

so i applied for IU within the last few weeks. not expecting any answers for at least a few more months from the way everyone says they r backed up. but, today, i get a call to verify my address and they say that an appt is being sent out to me that i *must* make. is this normal? i mean both the appt and the speedy response? and if the appt is normal who in the world would it be with? another c&p exam? ugh, im confused as usual.

If you applied for IU than you will be given another c&p exam. A claim for IU is considered a claim for increase. It's anyones guess as to why you were contacted so quickly, but consider yourself lucky.

As a combat veteran, or any veteran for that matter!!!

If you thought the fighting was over when you came home, got out, or when the politicians said it was over.

Welcome to the real fight, welcome to VA claims!!!

I actually think it is good. Most of us are very suspicious of anyone on the outside but at least you will be dealing with professionals which does not always happen at the VA.

Good Luck

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.
