Vso Filed Wrong Disability Claim

Rate this question

COOL BREEZE

Question

I called the 800# to see what claims were received by the VA as e-benifits doesn't show everything, and found out that my new VSO filed a claim on my behalf for Osteomyelitis, not for artherosclerotic disease. This is shocking. The rep wanted to know why was that filed? So I have to withdraw that claim, and resubmit everything. No other claims have been received. And I wonder why blood pressure is extremely elevated even though I am on max blood pressure medicine

Go on line ot Vonapp and file the correct claim. Also send in a 21-4138 and explain that your VSO filed for the wrong condition. Next step is to contact that VSO and explain that he made a mistake and that he and his organization can be held liable for their error.

I would also revoke their POA and find someone else with the new claim as your current VSO has wasted your time.

I just got through re-faxing the correct claim, I will overnight this tomorrow) I asked the VA to send a copy of the evidence that was received from my previous VSo again, and then armed with that evidence I can march in and show them that. The 800# said they were going to submit the revoking of that claim-I think this has to do with a fungus disease. Is this quite common for someone to go through this mess. I got a new VSO, that didn't work, I wonder if I need to switch organizations or if I should just do this on my own with every ones support here.
