Disability Percentages For Claims?

Question

I have filed for disability and would like to know through the experience of people on the site what to expect. I have the following filed with the VA. Was in the service for 31 years. Anyone put some number to the areas below, I know some are 0% after reading some of the info on this site from previous write-ups.

1. Bilateral Tinnitus

2. Gerd

3. Erectile Dysfunction

4. Chronic Planatar Warts

5. Sciatic Neuritis

6. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

7. Bilateral Hearing Loss

8. Ventral Hernia

9. Depression with Anxiety

10. Chronic Prostititis

11. Degererative Dics Disease Lumbar

12. Irritable Bowel Disease

13. Umbilical Hernia

14. Hypertension

15. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

16. Obstructive Sleep Apnea with CPAP

17. Osteoarthritis L5-S1

6. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome treated as neuritis or neuralgia of the median or ulnar nerve.

7. Bilateral Hearing Loss

8. Ventral Hernia

9. Depression with Anxiety

10. Chronic Prostititis

11. Degererative Dics Disease Lumbar

12. Irritable Bowel Disease

13. Umbilical Hernia

14. Hypertension

15. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

16. Obstructive Sleep Apnea with CPAP 50

17. Osteoarthritis

Benm there is really no way we can do this because you need to look up your issues and compare them to the schedule for rating disabilities title 38 cfr part 4. You then need to know exact on each condition as it relates to you.

Item 11 and 17 will be rated as 1 condition as they will not rate both as it is called pyramiding of 2 issues on the same system. Lumbar and Thoracic spine are considred the same.

Hi Bmurp,

From what I was told, as I have obstructive Sleep apnea as well, is that due to the nature of the CPAP needing to have the tubes replaced every 6 months or so, this automatically warrants a 50% rating so you are insured for your SC disabilities. Whether or not this is true I don't know. I do know I recieved a 50% rating for Sleep Apnea first try.
