Bravo6
I was awarded SSDI on November 5th! The way we found out was my wife call the bank to check our account balance! Well the balance was HUGE thus I call my attorney to ask if I had been approved! The deposit was from SSA.......I rec'd the deposit before I rec'd the award notice! Anyways, its a GOOD DAY! I was awarded SSDI without going to the ALJ........I was getting scheduled for a hearing but I rec'd an ON THE RECORD Decision! My EVIDENCE was iron-clad! WOOOHOOOO! For those still fighting..........don't give up! That's what they want you to do! God Bless you all! Bonzai
Congratulations! I haven't given up, but kind of resigned to the fact that I will have to bring suit in District Court. It just makes the battle that much longer. Be wise with your retro, and make sure you set aside some for a rainy day. Berta
Bravo that is WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good for you. GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
WildBill
Happy for you. I've always said I would not take anything for what my two years in the Army taught me, but I sure as hell wouldn't do them again for ANYBODY. Vietnam changed my life forever....
