wc, the va will take your doctors diagnoses into consideration. They may still send you for a c&p but the docs. report is good evidence.

how do you write a claim for that. she stated on my records that i have erectile dysfunction as a side effect from my psych meds.should i get the wife to write a statement and how will that be go.

WindyCity , right it up as any other claim. You would be claiming that your ED is secondary to your service connected disabilities due to the medications that you are on. A statement from your wife would not hurt and can only help as long as she states the right things, like before you started taking the medications you had an active sex life, but since you have no desire and are unable to perform. Have you looked online to see if these medications are documented as causing ED? If so, you can print off a couple of those and highlight where it says it may cause ED. It may save the rater from having to do it and go in your favor. It may not. You just never know, but it doesn't hurt to include medical research documents as long as it is not too much. Make it easy on the rater.
