sbrewer
If you file for an increase March 10, and you are increased to 50% or more, would the effective date be March 10 or April ? Also if you received medicines March 10 or later, would you be reimbersed for them? Thanks, sbrewer
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted June 14, 2006 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 14, 2006 It should be effective the date you filed but not always. When I got TDIU they retroed it back a year from my request for increase due to evidence. I got reimbursed for dental work I had done. I think Peter suggested I go for the reimbursement but it was a long strange trip to get it. I went through fee base under unauthorized expense. It was weird and took 6 months. The first thing the VA did was just throw away my paperwork and they admitted it to me.
