Attorney Wants Diagnosis for Secondary Complication to Rated Condition; Must it be through VA?
Cat4Christ777 posted a question in IMO Independent Medical Opinion,
Originally, this secondary condition was claimed as 'migraines,' but while it may begin as a migraine with a complication, the VA can--and has, more than once--made it so much worse (pain-wise). If it does not qualify as a migraine, then my attorney and I need to come up with a different diagnosis. It's definitely a neurological issue, possibly 'occipital neuralgia,' as the condition meets the criteria of its definition, here: https://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/occipital+neuralgia.-

VA Math, Confusing, Right? Calculate Your Final Rating Percentage!
Tbird posted a blog entry in Tbirds Blog,
10 + 50 = 50 and other VA math mysteries explained.
VA Math It’s Not Your Mother’s Arithmetic
“VA Math” is the way that the VA computes combined impairment ratings for multiple conditions in a Veteran’s compensation benefits claim – and it requires that you unlearn real math. When a Veteran has multiple medical conditions that are service-connected and the Veterans Affairs rates each at a different percentage, it would seem that they should just add up your percentages to get to a total body impairment rating.-

Question

I am so tired of dealing with these people and their lies!!!
I don't know what to believe anymore. I had a C&P back in
August of last year and was told that my appeal was at the
rater in October. I posted a copy of the C&P in this thread:
Each time I have checked since then, I was always told that it was with the rater
and to expect an answer soon. Yeah right
I decided to call the #800 today just to check, and guess what? Now they tell me
it has been sent back to review. After all these months and back to review! I see
this as nothing but a stall tactic, because I'm eligible for a large retro.
What frustrates me all to H*ll, is there is nothing that can be done about these idiots!!
Guess I'll shoot a IRIS request off for all the good it will do.
I'm just tired. My family is tired.
Oh well, just needed to speak with you guys and share my rant.
PPS: This really sucks! I can't even submit a IRIS request. Keeps telling
me my SSN is in use by another. I guess it is med time. Disgusted!!
