captain soggy
How do I get signed up for dental care now that I am rated a 100% P&T. My wife and I both took early social security. I am 63. Is there any reason I should try to claim SSDI now.

Hey captain....I had to go to my vamc where I receive treatment, then go to the Health Benefits department and they should enter you into the dental system. Make sure you have your award letter. stillhere
Yes on the ssdi! It is a few bucks more than regular ssa and if you are totally disabled for work and some doctor will back it up with a letter you should get it. You will get the difference of ssa as a retro to when you get ssdi. Good Luck and take care of yourself!
HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted April 22, 2011 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted April 22, 2011 Yes on SSD it will get you full benefits until retirement age of 67 now I think. Make a big difference. Go to the Dental Department and show them your award letter they will probably get xrays and get you into the system. You have to wait awhile for appointments. Unless you have pain and than they will see you as a walkin.
