Question

Hello,

I EAS'ed from the USMC back in 2008. Throughout my time in I suffered from psoriasis of the buttock as well as anal fissures. Being that these were two very embarrassing issues I did not bring them up to medical nor did I bring it up on my final physical when checking out. I was looking at going through DAV to try to help me out.

Is it even remotely possible to service connect something like this with no records?

hay marine welcome aboard, inservice reports are important, but to file a claim you also need to have a current diagnosis that relates to your service medical problems.

If you can get a Doc to opine that you have it now and link it to your service. It is going to be hard to get it but is possible. By the way psoriasis can become a much bigger problem as you get older so no matter what happens get treatment for it.

Did you ever get any treatment for these problems in service? Did you serve overseas? There might be some link between where you served and these problems? Anal fissures could lead to an infection as you can imagine. Even if you have to fight to get compensation you need treatment number one priority.
