JT24usn
Beginning to like the FDC program. Claim went in 11/29/11. Exam 2/3/12. Ready to rate 2/24. Spoke with VSO that was once a rater. Looks like 30% for anxiety. Rest was a shot in the dark. This will raise me to 50%. May have to try FDC again

JT24usn
We shall see! instead of worrying about effective date. I have spent past couple of months collecting needed info and submitted up front rather than piecemeal. Then did the FDC program. I will take 4 months fir a claim rather than waiting to get paid back pay.

manning01
T8r Question on the FDC process doesn't it have to be connected to a already compensated condition i.e. secondary etc or can it be used for a totally new condition a vet wants to file a claim for. I wanted to try the FDC to file for IBS since I've been diagnosed with it by the VA and is a presumptive to my Gulf War Service/OIF. I have copies of everything they would need and they already have my SMR with my C file at the VARO. Sounds like a better way verse the normal claims process I'm at 19 months on my initial compensation claim. It took my file sent from the VARO in Phoenix to a tiger team in OH to find out they missed sending out my requests for records back in Sept 2010 so Cleveland sent it all the way back without doing anything. I assume if I do claim this IBS it might slow down my C file for the other items not like it's moving anyware soon at the rate they are moving??? Any help is appreciated. JT24usn
FDC can be new secondary reopen ( tough one) and increase. You can also do it for pension. The catch is everything must be submitted up front. You can't have a claim already running either. Worst theyll do is tell you you are out of the program, but by signing certificate DTA is met ( meaning even if inel you still either get an exam or rtr). IBS is oresumptive and sounds like gulf war is conceded. Sounds like by doing FDC you will get a letter stating you are excluded because of a claim going, but should get the exam at the same time. That is your call. Again, recap: Can't file FDC with claim already going ( will receive a letter saying you are excluded) again claim will still move forward but defeats the purpose of FDC. All evidence must be submitted up front with 526ez. Do NOT submit abything else afte FDC claim is in. You will be excluded (kinda defeats the purpose of FDC). But will get a letter telling you that you're excluded. See the link at the beginning if this chain IMHO. It works. Just have to have your ducks in a row before submitting. Yes you lose effective date, but some have been waiting almost a year and mine is in decision in less then four MOS. JMHO. It is your call.
