I was found disabled by social security for depression in 1991. I did not know I could also apply for va compensation. I was awarded 30% by va in 2006 for depression (Mood Disorder). 2010 my disability was increased to 70% due to connecting military sexual trauma I had in service 1969. It was lumped into Mood Disorder once again even though it is severe depression and ptsd due to this trauma. Is this a cue or just too bad, I should have filed earlier? I have a great deal of difficulty speaking of any details of mst even today because the terror I had recreates the trauma like it is happening over. I have several other sc disabilities totaling 100%. I would really appreciate any advise.
