Today i checked ebenefits and for a few hours i got this message

Compensation and Pension Claim Status

Error

We are currently unable to access information about the claims you have filed with VA. If you need help, please call 1-800-827-1000.

then just a few mins ago i checked it again and now my claim does not show up? any idea what this could mean i was in the pending decision stage. Thanks

Don't think you have anything to be nervous about. They are probably upgrading (haha) the system again. Stop worrying and check again tomorrow. If your claim still doesn't show, place an IRIS inquiry.

Don't worry, Billygoat. For the past few days, eBenefits has been warning that they would be down for system upgrades. I got the same error yesterday. You should have a message somewhere on that screen saying some thing like the system will be down until 2200 EST for "system upgrades". Happens all the time.
