roses15534
if a person is getting A&A and then is incarcerated do they still rate it? If not who do you contact to report this?
HadIt.com Elder Philip Rogers Posted September 30, 2012 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 30, 2012 If a person is incarcerated for, I believe more than 60 days, they should be reduced to a 10% rating. Not sure who you'd report it to but I would think it would be either the VA's fraud dept or the VAOIG. jmo pr

jvretiredvet
As this post is in the "VA pension" Forum, I'd ask for a bit of clarification ... Are we speaking of VA Pension at the A&A level, or are we referring to VA disability compensation with Special Monthly Compensation at the A&A level. Big difference. Also, what is your position here? The veteran? A dependent of the veteran? Or, "other"? if a person is getting A&A and then is incarcerated do they still rate it? If not who do you contact to report this?
