Might try the letter "AB8" to see if there is an increase or change in your overall rating. Another possibility is to check VA Payment History to see if there is a new payment...or look at your bank account. Those are two that come to mind immediately. There are more I've heard of, like start submitting a new claim onine and see what your current rating is or go to Benefits Explorer which might have your new combined rating in your profile. Congrats on getting to the end...looking forward to sending you further congrats on good news.

But you've got a link to an AB8 letter? Sounds like a system problem with your profile. You might try to contact the help desk; it's open until 8PM EDT so you've got some time:

eBenefits General Questions &
Technical Issues

1-800-983-0937

Hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 8am to 8pm ET

Another option is to contact the general Beneftis hotline 1-800-827-1000 until 9PM EDT and ask them.

Finally, if you used a VSO to file your claim, you can try them in the morning. They should be able to tell you.

You could try a FDC using a DBQ filled out by your civilian doc. Two different VSOs have told me that route is faster than the appeal process. However, you're the guy in charge of your claim. Might want to research this further in hadit before pulling the appeal trigger.
