Excuse they said it will not be in by the first and they do not know if I am going to get it or not although I have gotten one for several years for steroid creams

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

two years ago, the prosthetic section at the Louisville VA Hospital came out with a list of creams that it was no longer awarding a clothing allowance for. It would depend if your prosthetic section did the same or I would just ask them for a list of what they do award a CA for. It would seem that the regional VA offices would be on the same page, but we all know that doesn't happen.

Also, they recently began denying more veterans that previously were receiving a CA for knee braces. The company that makes these particular type of brace stated that the brace they construct, does not wear out the clothing. This has began a rash of appeals concerning their decision.

Now , when a veteran submits an appeal for a CA, it is then sent to the regional office to be added to the growing lists of current appeals.
