Am I Done Already?

Question

Ok i Just logged in to see what the status of my claim was and it said complete on 09-04-2013. Could It really been done already? I just had my C&P for PTSD on 08-15-2013. So does that mean there done or is it a mistake? Is a short turn around time a bad thing? If It is complete when will I be able to find out what the decision was? Thanks...

They removed the "AB8" from the letter name. It's something like "Confirm Disability Compensation."

If you found the letter and your rating didn't change, it may be a bad sign. The AB8 showing no change was my first indiction that I didn't win the last round.

Only way to know for certain how things fell out is to wait for the big envelope in the mail.

And those were the worst couple of weeks waiting for that package knowing that the 100% the NSO promised in 60 to 90 days was a 0% composite increase after 5 months.

Hang in there!

This appears to be a rating decision that is called a C&C. Which means "confirmed and continued". The VA rater confirmed your previous service connected disability, meaning you still have a diagnosed condition, and they continued your previous disability of what you indicated is 10%. Let us know when you get your letter, what it says. You may be able to reopen for an increase, and send in a new DBQ from your private doctor, as an FDC claim and still get an increase, or file an NOD and /or appeal. Don't get discouraged, you still have options.- Harleyman
