Helped a little on the knee with acute meniscus tear issues, but no help (and a lot short term of pain from pressure of the liquid going in) on the other knee. On the meniscus knee, it helped reduce the pain I get after not moving it for a short time, and I had fewer incidents per day of what I think is pinching of frayed meniscus material.
