Question

I am set to the VA for a new CPAP machine, the one I have was issued by the Army in 2010. I complained to the VA and stated that my machine is making ticking sounds, broken face mask, hole in the hose (covered with tape), and often times take up to five seconds to turn after pressing the on button. What should I expect when I take my machine in and what questions will they ask?

I just received my CPAP last month. Ours you send them the CPAP card monthly and have a check form to request new supplies. I know new filters every week and the hoses and mask are every six months.

The CPAP I received is a Phillips and it is awesomely quiet.

Good luck my friend.

I can Only tell you what happend when i was released from AD i had my sleep study done while at MAMC went to the VA hosp in Spokane brought in a copy of my study, machine and all parts associated with it they didn't have the program to download my cpap or the needed parts they issued me a slightly used machine due to the fact all machines they had were issued out all ready the new machine had less then 30 hrs use on it so it was still new used that for approximately 3 years then got a new one.

I had to go in and have checked every 6 months first year after that it has been once a year i get new hoses and filters every year and masks every 6 months the techs in the cpap clinic are great people dont worry they will take good care of ya
